4 1/2 Cups Rolled Oats or Quick Oats
1cup whole wheat flower
1tsp bakins soda
1cup softened butter
small bar of dark chocolate broken up into chunks
grease up a lasagna sized pan or I used a muffin pan
preheat the oven to 325 F
mix butter and honey together in a large bowl
then add in the rest of the ingredients, except chocolate chunks, slowly mixing very well.
press into pan or muffin cups firmly so they don’t fall apart
then press in chocolate chunks and sprinkle with coconut if desired
bake for 20 mins or 25 mins if in muffin cups. remove and let cool
These are so delicious. although they aren’t crunchy they are still a great replacement besides corn syrup laden store bought brands. You can also replace the butter with unsalted natural peanut butter.
